Georgia Militia Button - GA-11 - (Tice GA230-B1) 23.7 mm convex, two piece Georgia Coat Button. Confederate Local. Straight, solid and strong shank.  Blank with depressed channel back mark. -CSB127 - $345

 

Georgia Militia Button - GA-4 - (Tice GA206-A1) 23 mm convex, two piece Georgia Coat Button. Approximately 50% of original gold gilt remains. Some minor ground action, but no repairs or damage. Slightly bent shank with slightly movable loose back. Still a very nice example of a rarer Georgia button  Horstmann & Allien back mark with rays. -CSB131 - $345

Face is slick with virtually no ground action. Straight, solid and strong shank.  Blank with depressed channel back mark. -CSB125 - Sold

Louisiana Militia Button - LA8 - (Tice LA249C2) 21.5 mm convex, two piece Louisiana Coat Button. Confederate Local. Nice looking face that has gold gilt in al of the right places. Face is slick with virtually no ground action. Straight, solid and strong iron shank.  Blank with depressed channel back mark. - CSB103 - Sold

Louisiana Militia Button - Unlisted - (Tice LA220A5) 22 mm. Convex, two piece, dug, Louisiana State Seal Coat Button. The device shows a Pelican standing with its head toward the left, on a lined field. Nice, with a fair amount of gold gilt remaining. Slightly bent shank and there may be a very slight push on the left side of the pelican. Scovill MFG Co / Waterbury (dm) back mark. - CSB094 - $425

South Carolina Militia Button - SC11 - (Tice SC244-A3) 23 mm convex, two piece South Carolina Coat Button. Approximately 50% of original gold gilt remains. Straight shank. The back is slightly loose and can be rotated, but is in no danger of falling out.   Horstmann  Bros & Allien / NY back mark. -CSB133 - $245 - Hold

 

Tennessee Militia Button - TN4A - (Tice TN200A1) 21 mm convex, two piece Tennessee Coat Button. A fair amount of gold still remains on this button. There is a moderate push to the face and the shank is bent, but this button is very solid and displays very nicely.  It has a very strong strike which is unusual for this button. If it were not pushed, this button would be worth in excess of $4K. Note: this is the TN4A (Tice TN200A) button which Tice states is far less common than the TN200B. Blank back mark with a depressed channel. -CSB132 - Sold

Features the Virginia coat of arms on a lined field with the motto in a ribbon below and VIRGINIA above. Straight Shank.
