CSA Pewter Waist Belt Plate - Good looking, rare CSA pewter belt buckle. This buckle was in three pieces when recovered, but has been professionally restored. Most, if not virtually all, of these are broken when recovered. Recovered by Ken Hellmann in the 1863 Confederate camps of Braxton Bragg Army of Tennessee in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Looks as good as most and cheaper than a complete one would be, if you can find one. 50 x 75 mm. Similar to Mullinax Plate 112, pp67 (Expanded Edition). - $3,500

CS 2-Piece "Virginia Style" Waist Belt Plate - Great looking, dug together 2 piece waist belt plate. This one features the pointed serifs style and is a finely made CS 2 piece. It would be hard to upgrade this one. Slick hard green patina in exposed areas with woods mulch still covering a large part of this fine buckle. 49mm x 83 mm / wreath height 50mm. Similar to Mullinax Plate 007, pp13 (Expanded Edition). - $3,200

CS "Beveled - Edge" Frame Buckle - This is a very good looking beveled edge frame buckle. Measures 54 x 66 mm. Nice pleasing dark green patina with a very slick face. No problems and a fine example of a moderately rare plate. Similar to Mullinax Plate 165, pp 95 (Expanded Edition). - Sold

CS Oval "Rope Border Variant" Waist Belt Plate - Awesome example of a non-dug CS "Rope Border" Belt Buckle on leather. The plate is flawless with no damage, dents, or repairs. I cannot say that the leather on this plate is original to the plate, but it is the correct leather and it has been with this buckle for a very long time. The "rope" that gives this buckle its name, around the inside edge of this buckle is strong and readily visible. The scrap brass hooks are unaltered and original to this buckle. Plate measures 54 x 86 mm. Similar to Mullinax Plate 140, pp82 (Expanded Edition). - $7,950

CSA Waist Belt Plate 2-Piece Tongue Disc - Extremely rare disc from a 2 piece CSA buckle usually associated with North Carolina Troops. This one was found in Northern Virginia and apparently was fashioned into a hat pin or some other type device before being lost. A fair amount of gold gilt remains on the face of this disc. Disc diameter 32 mm. Similar to Mullinax Plate 062, pp42 (Expanded Edition). - $2,650
