Waist Belt Plate, New York Militia, Infantry - Excellent, dug SNY Belt Plate. Great green patina with slick face and 99+% of the lead remains in the back. The lead hook is missing, but it is priced accordingly. Displays very nicely. Waist Belt Plate, Ohio Volunteer Militia, Infantry Enlisted - Excellent, dug medium sized OVM Belt Plate. Great green patina with nice face and 95+% of the lead remains in the back. There is a slight bend to the buckle and the edge of the buckle nearest the O had some rim damage (and has since been repaired), but it displays very nicely and is in great overall condition. Similar to Plate 553 in American Military Belt Plates by O'Donnell & Campbell. pp. 340. - $1,895 - USB070

Excellent overall condition. Long, unusual lead hook, with the fat letter style. Two fixed studs behind the "S", indicates Dragoon, or Rifleman's usage.
